DIY 3 hair masks that you actually have the ingredients for !

So lets just get right into it.
For the first mask you will need :
Honey
Egg
Cinnamon
A table spoon for measuring

Preparation : All you need to do is use half a spoon of cinammon ,one spoon of honey and one egg.
Now,you mix it until it turns into an even mixture ,apply it to your hair and leave it on for 15 minutes ,rinse off and you're done.Just be careful .Egg is high in protein which is why it's great for your dry and damaged hair but don't use this more than every two weeks because too much protein can do more harm than good, also keep in mind that egg is pretty hard to wash off ,so be careful with that as well.Reason why i added honey to this is because honey has great mosturising properties ,as well as great healing properties which is why you want to use it if you have any scalp issues.Cinammon also has great properties for your scalp but it also has a beautiful, yet strong smell which will eliminate weird smell that egg has.
I reccommend this mask for people who have dyed ,especially bleached hair as well to those with scalp issues such as dandruff ,hair loss or anything similar.
this is what i use ;)

For the second mask you will need:
Honey
cinnamon
olive oil
a table spoon
Preparation:Same as in mask number one.Just mix 1/2 spoon of cinnamon,1 spoon of honey and 2 spoons of oil.In this case, cinammon is not a must but i like to add it.I alredy talked about properties that honey has ,so i'll skip that this time but what i do want to mention is properties of olive oil.Olive oil is extremly mosturizing, but also has great abilities for strenghtening and smoothing your hair .This mask is a moisture bomb, and  it can be used however many times you want to .Apply it on the ends and mid lenght of your hair and leave it on for half an hour..
Works for any hair type

Again ,this is what i use.

Mask number three:
You will need:
Yogurt
cinnamon
olive oil
a tablespoon
Preparation:mix just a tad bit of cinnamon, two spoons of oil and two spoons of yogurt, apply and leave on for as long as possible. We alredy went thru benefits of oil and cinnamon so lets talk about yogurt now-it has some awsome properties that help smooth your hair making it really soft and easily managable. It can be used alone or just with oil. Results should be similar.
I recommend this mask for dry, brittle, tangly, hard to manage type of hair.

I use rhis brands, but really anything works fine

DIY simple facial at home

So,as i alredy promised you guys,i'll share with you how i do my facial at home so here it is
DISCLAMER:I am in no way a proffessional when it comes to this kind of stuff and all i'm doing is sharing  the recipe that i personally use, which doesn't mean that it must work for you .

Ingredients (stuff that you will need) ;
  1. One lemon
  2. Camomile or green tea
  3. Some boiled water
  4. Face wash/soap
  5. Soft toothbrush that you will be using only for this purpose
  6. Facial mosturizer/cream/whatever you use
  • First thing that you want to do is make sure that your face is makeup, residue, sebum and dirt free.Once you have achieved that ,we can move on to the next step .which is:
  • Take your lemon.cut it in half, juice one half of it and save the other half for later-you'll need it later. Now,apply that as a toner to your skin and leave it on for 2-3 miinutes ,but,if you have sensitive skin, just skip this step.
  • Next thing you want to do is apply your fav face wash or soap to your skin and take your toothbrush, and gently ,GENTLY brush your skin with it for half of a minute and wash off the bubbles .
  • Then, make some tea.If you have acne prone or any other type of skin, use camomile except for oily skin,in that case use green tea and steam your face over a big pot of that tea for about 5 minutes. If you are unsure how to do this, check out some youtube vids as there are plenty showing you how to steam your face.(heres's a link to one of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr2Gvq_Fe7s )
  • After that's done ,repeat lemon toner (using the other half of your lemon and brush step if you don't have sensitive skin) and if you do then just ,again gently brush your skin usng that brush  but don't use lemon.
  • Lastly, apply some good quality honey on your skin, leave it on for five minutes and wash off.If your skin starts to feel  a bit tight use your mosturizer and you are done.
  • DO NOT DO THIS MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK;FOR SENSITIVE SKIN ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!
Hope this works for you the way it does for me.

DIY AT HOME MANICURE

Hiya, yea ,i know it's been like half a year since i blogged but let's just say that school got the best of me.But ,i'm on my summer break now so expect at least one post a day from me .
So as i'm sitting here, soaking my nails in oil ,i thought it would be a good idea to share some tips on how to get the perfect mani at home. These are the tips ,step by step:
  • So lets say you are starting off with alredy painted ,chipped nails .The very first thing you want to do is grab some cotton (either cotton pads for make up rempoal or cotton balls)and apply some oil based, acetone free nail polish remover on them.Gently, start to rub your nails until the polish comes off .If you were wearing a stubborn, hard to remove ,glitter polish ,take the same cotton with polish remover but this time put that on your nails and wrap it in some alu-foil and leave it on for five to ten minutes. When the time passes ,gently slide the foil away ,and voila.
  • After that, wash your hands with some soap and we can move on to the next step.
  • What you want to do is take a gentle ,glass type nail file and shape your nails the way you desire but take care that you are fileing your nails only in one direction ,in order to prevent them from breaking.
  • Then ,use a 4 step nail file that you can get for cheap at any beauty supply store and gently buff ,polish and shine up your nails .When you're done ,wash your hands again.
  •  Now here comes the fun part.Take some extra virgin or any kind of olive oil and heat it up just until it's warm. Then ,soak your nails in it for however long you want to,then wash your hands AGAIN .
  • You can skip the oil ,and just apply some body lotion or hand cream on and leave it on the nails for about 15 minutes ,for similar, but milder results.
  • After that ,your nails should be ,clean, dry, and moisturized as well as your cuticles.
  • If nedeed, now is the perfect time to push your cuticles and follow up with a bit more of polish remover again.Just make sure to never cut them,AS THAT COULD BE REALLY BAD.
  • Now ,after all this, you ca finally apply a thin coat of base coat to your nails
  • Once you've done that, you can leave your nails as they are or follow up with few ,thin coats of your polish color.
  • Then, optionally you can apply a thin coat of top coat and you are done.
  • EXTRA TIP :If you are clumsy like i am and can't do fancy nail desings but want to have fun nails, you can always try using nail stamps, gems and stickers for nails. If you want a post on that, let me know by commenting. Also, please do take your time and tell me in the comments what is your favourite nail polish colour/brand and you might be featured in my next post .

How to get rid of acne? Tips and Tricks

So ,if you have acne, which i'm sure most of you, my readers do,this post is for you.
So first of lemme tell you that this is my second time writing this post ,because i wrote it once and as i was checking grammar ,i deleted itacidentally so if you don't like this post ,i'm sorry
and second all the tips that i will share with you are just what i have used / still am using on my own skin ,but  keep in mind that what works for me ,might not work for you.

  • DON'T OVER WASH - Acne can be cause by few reasons like stress, puberty, health condions ,as a side effect of the medication you are maybe taking...so ,over washing your face isn't going to help.Oily skin is actually dry deep inside which is why it's oily ,confusing ,right?Well let me explain:oily skin is dry deep inside ,so your body creates more oil to mosturize it,that's why washing your face too much won't help.I recommend you to wash your face two times a day using mild wash/soap.
  • LESS IS MORE -When it comes to skin care for acne prone skin ,rather use three products that are effective (i use this puzzle product line but couldn't find it on ebay ,sorry)and it works wonders,so make sure to remember that it's not about quantity,it's about quality.
  • KEEP DIRTY THINGS AWAY FROM YOUR SKIN-When you're in class or at work ,we all want to have pretty hair ,but having bangs that cover/touch your face is really bad so try to avoid that.
  • DON'T TOUCH YOUR PIMPLES -   When it comes to those gross red pimples that you just want to squeeze out, stop.Instead of doing that try using drying lotion ,or applying mint based toothpase on your acne, but be carefull because most people say to leave the toothpaste on over night ,but i find that for me and my sensitive skin that does more harm than good,so leaving it on for 30 mins for me works great.
  • DON'T OVER EXFOLIATE -Skin that is acne prone is really sensitive ,so i find that using facial scrubs and brushes can be a bit too much .So what i like to do is take a clean ,fine toothbrush and clean it with alcohol ,then wash my face with my facilal soap / wash and with that wash on my skin ,i gently exfoliate 1-2 times (or less) a week only in areas where needed ,barelly touching (or not even touching)my breakouts. Then, once i finish i wash the brush with alcohol again and store it in a dry place.
  • DO AT HOME FACIALS -Doing at home facials ,like lemon honey one which will be my next post ,really benefits your skin so stay tuned for that.
  • STAY AWAY FROM BACTERIAS -When yo finish washing your face ,pat dry it with a towel, paper towel,or facial sponge and make sure it's clean .(both sponge and your skin)
NEVER GO TO BED WITH MAKE-UP ON-'nuf said
NOW SOME TIPS TO HELP YOUR SKIN INSIDE OUT:
  1.  Drink alot of water- i know,i know i hate drinking water too ,but once you do it for few days and notice the difference...
  2. Drink green tea in the morning-During summer 2013 i forced myself to drink green tea every morning,it woke me up ,but not just that .it detoxified my skin too,so try it but make sure you don't add anything to your tea.
  3. Drink lemon water-Lemon water is usually suppose to be morning drink, but what i like to do is squeeze half of a lemon in a glass filled with warm water and enjoy ...kinda eh ...before bed
  1. Stay away from chips, sodas, and dun dun dun sweets like chocolate
  2.  Drink less coffee because coffee itself is ok,but sugar and all that ,nope gurl ,nope
SO THESE WERE MY TIPS AND TRICKS THAT I COULD THINK OF RN ,BUT MAKE SURE TO LEAVE A COMMENT IF YOU WANT ME TO MAKE PT. 2 OF THIS AND TELL ME ,WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DIY SKINCARE REMEDIE,xoxo ,Kiki

How to get longer and healthier hair

HOW TO GET LONGER AND HEALTHIER HAIR?      READ BELOW ;)

So i'm in my car,on a road trip ,listening to music so i thougt might as well write a blog
Basically ,since i have been trying to get my hair longer and healthier for quite some time now (almost 2 years) i have learned a bunch of helpful tips and tricks that i want to share with you guys.
I don't have a list of them or anything like that so i'm just going to write them randomly.
  • Change the way you brush your hair.Don't brush it just to get it done, because that way you are calling split ends.Instead, start from the bottom ,with a good brush ,that's not going to cause even more damage, slowly and gently,i repeat gently, work your way up.And yes, first few times you will find it really boring, but trust me,later you will be glad you did it.
  • Don't trim your ends at hair stylist too often ,because most likely ,they won't do what you want them to do.Yes,get your hair cut by them one or two times a year, just to retain shape and layers if you have any,but instead try searching on internet how to trim your own ends.
  • If you alredy have split ends to start with, trim your hair every two-three months, and remember to trim off JUST WHAT YOU REALLY,REALLY HAVE TO .If you don't have split ends to start of,trim your hair just when needed. Also while doing this make sure you keep in mind that hair grows half an inch a month,so if you trim it every two months make sure that you don't cut off more that half an inch ,or your hair will stay same lenght forever.
  • Change the way you wash your hair.Yea,i know that hair gets gross and dirty really fast and that you just want to lather it in a bunch of shampoo every two days ,but no.Instead slowly train your hair to get used to being washed max 2 times a week.I wash it every 5 days.Monday, friday, wensday, sunday and repeat. Also ,when washing your hair, don't lather your hair in shampoo from root to tip, just lather roots, ends will get washed anyways.I know it sounds crazy, but it works, trust me.
  • Don't use silicone based products,no matter how much you love them.Yes ,they do make your hair all silky and smooth, probably split end free, but in reallity ,only thing they do ,is build up on your hair, and after a while can even cause your hair to break of,and if you use them ,make sure you deep clean your hair ,at least once in every two weeks, using something like acv rinse, which i will have a separate blog post.
  • Stop with the bleach. If you bleach your hair, stop if you can ,if not ,at least do it less often and stay away from your scalp.Bleach is a strong chemical ,so if you use it,make sure you stay away from your scalp, because it can harm it and weaken your hair in general.
  • make sure you use the right products ,and use them the right way ,otherwise they will just be a waste of money and will do more harm than good.
  • If your hair has alot of split ends ,consider getting it layered. This way you will get rid of alot of split ends but will keep some of your lenght.
  • Drink alot of water.Yea ,i know,i don't do it either .But at least try,as i like to call it the detoxify week,i basically have one week in month when i drink only water. This way you will cleanse your skin.including scalp and stimulate hair growth. If you alredy drink alot of water, good for you because that is one of the best things that can be done to stimulate longer ,healthier hair.
  • Stop with the heat, natural is beautiful.Think of your hair texture like this.People who have curly hair, straighten it to get it straight, and people who have straight hair curl it.So just rock what you have and be proud of it.if you have something in between ,don't be sad.Be prod of it,because that's just another thing that's making you unique.
  • Invest in a good oil.It doesn't have to be hair oil,but just do some research of benefits certain oils have, and use one of them.Your hair will thank you.
  • Use less styling products like hair gel, hairspray etc.
  • Use heat protectant even when blowdrying your hair.
  • When blowdrying ,dry your roots first using hottest heat setting, then use medium for the rest of your hair, bube e careful, using way too cold air on your hair can be just as damaging as using too hot air.
  • Invest in a good blowdryer ,that has at least three heat settings.
  • Don't play around with your hair too much as that will weaken it.
  • Braids and buns are also a thing that can be either really good or really bad.If you braid ,tie and bun your hair really gently and carefully,it will be really beneficial as that will protect it and keep it tangle free, but if you do it too harsh and strong,no matter how beautiful that tight braid looks,it will just weaken it.
  • If you have any scalp problems, make sure to cure that first as much as possible ,and then start your healthy hair journey.
  • There are a bunch of other tips that i can't think of right now,so there will probably another one post like this soon.
  • And most important, remember to be patient because healthy, beautiful long hair doesn't happen over night, even though it would be hella cool if it did lol
  • ps.i'm writing this in my car so there is a bunch of typos, but i can't re -read this AND CHECK THAT BECAUSE THAT WAY I WOULD GET A HEADACHE SO ...

HOW TO MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER ?

HOW TO MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER ?

When i was 4 i got my hair cut to really short, pixie kinda cut.Since then ,i have been tryin to grow out my hair long, but health.Unfortunetly ,for some reason i have issues with both things.

1.My hair is really, really, really, really thin, baby like,so it gets damaged very easily.
2.Due to this one scalp problem that i have,my hair grows really slowly (3-4)inches a year.

So at first i started to grow it out with regular trims every 2-3 months which kept it pretty healthy, but lengt wise i was getting nowhere. So after a while of that ,once i got my hair all even because of that pixie i got before, i decided to just let it grow and cut it once in a while, but the problem is that at the time i had no idea what hair conditioner or gentle brushing so i got a bunch of split ends,so then after a while i got a haircut which ended u bad.My hair stylist cut off several inches of hair but a certain level of damage still remained ,but since then i have found few tips and tricks that help me get my hair longer and keep the level of damage same (by that i mean it won't get healthier ,bu it will get longer and won't get anymore damaged.) which i will share in my next post (those tips also work for growing out longer, helthier hair)

Ok,enough of me rambling ,this november i got my haircut by a hairstlist just because i kept trimming my own hair so it got a bit out of shape but my hairstylist chopped off 4-5 inches,so i found out this amazing remedy that somehow got rid of my scalp iliness and made my hair grow faster and the remedy is ;

You take olive oil (extra virgin is better but ordinary works fine) and you pour it into some sort of heat resistant bowl  and heat it a bit (just to get it warm)make sure that you keep in mind that oil is hotter than you think once you aplly it to your hair. Then ,you aplly it to your hair just like you would a hair dye (from roots to tip) and that's it (you can go on yt and watch a tutorial on how to dye your hair ,but instead of dye ,you use oil.)

Then, you put your hair in a bun and put a plstic cap over your hair and let it sit in your hair for as long as possible.

and don't worry,it's not that hard to wash off ,i shampoo normaly (2 times in one wash ) ,condition my hair like i usually do and that's it.

ps.sorry if there are some grammar mistakes ,english is not my first langueage and i'm still learning it.
